About TEMAN
TEMAN Conference is a leading international forum that brings together key stakeholders in the minting industry to exchange insights, foster collaboration, and drive innovation.
The 22nd TEMAN Conference 2026 is held in Bali, Indonesia, with PERURI serving as the host. This edition carries the theme “Discovering the Future of Minting through Culture, Sustainability and Innovation,” which explores the harmonious integration of cultural heritage and cutting-edge technology within the minting industry.
The primary focus of the discussions includes the implementation of eco-friendly practices (eco-minting) to achieve global sustainability targets, as well as the digitalization of production processes to ensure high efficiency.

Host Institution
PERURI is an Indonesian State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) established in 1971, entrusted by the Indonesian government to mint and print the Rupiah, in both banknote and coin forms. In addition to its mandate for currency production, PERURI is also commissioned by the government to produce passports, excise stamps, tax stamps, and land certificates.
Drawing on its extensive experience, PERURI also manufactures various numismatic and coin products, such as medals, plaques, pins, and other coin-based derivatives.
PERURI has earned the trust of several other nations to produce their currency, excise stamps, passports, and postage stamps, including countries such as Peru, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the Philippines.
Before 2026, PERURI had the distinction of hosting the TEMAN Conference in 2005 and 2015.
